Mohamed Bin Issa Al Jaber and George Soros meet in London on the 27th June 2005.

MBI Al Jaber and George Soros held a meeting in London on 27th June 2005 to discuss possible cooperation on education and cultural reform in the broader Midle East and North Africa.

Soros, an American billionaire financier who established the Open Society Institute to promote civil society and rule of law in nearly all of the countries in the developing world, especially in Eastern Europe and the former soviet republics, expressed his enthusiasm about exploring cooperation in the Arab world in cultural and educational matters with Mohamed Bin Issa Al Jaber, a businessman recently appointed UNESCO Special Envoy for Education, Tolerance, and Cultures to build Peace and Democracy in the Region.
